The Arc’teryx Squamish Hoody is an ultralight windshell designed for fast-paced adventures, constructed from Tyono™ 20 nylon with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish to shed light precipitation and resist abrasion. Its Breathable-Water-Resistant (BWR) membrane balances windproof protection (CFM 30) with air permeability for active use. The streamlined cut and articulated patterning enhance mobility during climbing or trail running, while the stowable hood and single-pull adjustable hem adapt to shifting conditions. Weighing only 100g, it packs into its chest pocket for minimalist carry.
Engineered for transitional weather, the Squamish Hoody features laser-cut ventilation zones under the arms to prevent overheating, paired with water-resistant YKK® Vislon® zippers on the zippered chest pocket. The minimalist collar reduces bulk, while the bluesign®-approved fabric ensures eco-conscious durability. Reinforced shoulders and a micro-seam construction minimize weight without sacrificing abrasion resistance, making it ideal for alpine scrambles, cycling, or urban commutes where packability and versatility are paramount.
